Uganda Land of Promise Foundation exists to fully support a group of children in Bugiri, Uganda through every stage of growing up: tuition, housing, food, healthcare, and daily adult care. As they get older, we're working to give them what they need for a healthy mind as much as a healthy body.
The children we support come from complicated backgrounds. They show up every day with real joy, and as our family grows, so does the complexity of what they need from us. Our goal is to walk with them all the way to young adulthood, supporting them to become healthy, educated, well-rounded, grounded adults who will always have each other, the way a family does.
Uganda Land of Promise Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 41-4772659. We work directly with the children and the community around them rather than through large intermediaries, which keeps our overhead low and our attention where it belongs. Read how we got here
